question
Why the magnet shows cracking?
Answer
There are several causes for magnet cracking, mainly fours as follows: 1. The temperature increasing rate during sintering is too high and the product is deflated or caused by concentrated stress release since the cooling rate is too high; 2. Dehydrogenation inhomogeneity; 3. Cracks already exist at forming; 4. Cracking caused by impurities;
question
Why the sizes of the magnet are inconsistent at opposite ends?
Answer
When molding, the powder in the mold cavity is not uniform, and the mold upper and lower pressing heads are not parallel. The molded position is located at the position of the magnetic field, and the use of the powder additive can cause size deviation at both ends.
